Chloe Asa Tobin's practice includes painting, writing, photography, and recently the photographic object. Art making has always been a source of contentment and refuge for Tobin from childhood onward. The romance and understanding gained through the process of art making is what Tobin holds dear. Their visual language draws upon the idea of personal identity, social reform, queerness, and love. Creating has always been sacred to Tobin's identity and life, and they hope to share a vision of romance, wonder, togetherness, and understanding through their work. Tobin is based out of Chicagoland, and makes a living as a photographer.
